The Louie Waist Pack is a "fanny pack" or hip bag that is worn either around the waist or across the body (you will want to adjust the strap length based on how you want to wear it).

The pattern was designed for light canvas, soft vinyl, cork, light waterproof canvas, or faux leather (options for quilting cotton are included) and can be made on a domestic sewing machine!

This bag is soft-sided and is designed to be a small pack to keep your hands free! The pattern features a back zipper pocket, a large wide opening main compartment, super-strong strap anchor construction, and d-ring to hang your sanitizer or keys from. The construction technique keeps the lining super snug and sewn into all the edges for a clean finish, note that two finishing techniques are used - turning for the front of the bag and then binding for the back of the bag. There are unique pattern pieces for you to use either 1" wide webbing or 1-1/2" wide webbing for either the Small or Medium.

Finished sizes:

Small: 7-3/4” (20 cm) wide, 5” (12.7 cm) tall and 2” (5 cm) deep
Medium: 9-3/4” (25 cm) wide, 6” (15.3 cm ) tall and 2-1/4” (5.7 cm) deep

Pattern:

Your pattern comes in a PDF downloadable format filled with diagrams to walk you through the creation of your bag. All pattern pieces (curved and rectangles) are included in your file as well as a coloring page to help you plan out your project.

You also receive the SVG files to use a cutting machine to cut out all the pieces as well as a copy shop/projector PDF file.
